River from the Katy Trail

From June 1 to June 8, Lewis and Clark passed through the area between Jefferson City and Boonville on what is now the Katy Trail.
The Katy Trail State Park is the longest, thinnest state park in the country stretching from near St. Charles on the east to Clinton on the west. It follows the right-of-way of the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. Bikers and hikers can get a feel for area that Lewis and Clark traversed by biking or hiking the trail.
